Hillsdale in D.C. offers full-time, semester-based, paid internships to students of other undergraduate institutions and recent college graduates. Internship dates are flexible and applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

Interns assist in the pursuit of the College’s mission in the nation’s capital by teaching and promoting the principles and practice of American constitutionalism. Hillsdale in D.C. seeks to inspire and form students, citizens, practitioners, and statesmen, who will restore America’s principles and revive self-government in the political life of our nation.

Interns gain valuable work experience and develop professional skills by assisting staff and faculty with research, events, administration, special projects, and general operations. They participate in various educational opportunities, including, but not limited to, lectures and events with visiting scholars, congressional members and other leaders on Capitol Hill, and tours of Mount Vernon and various Civil War battlefields.
