Rachel Jankowski

Rachel Jankowski serves as Assistant General Counsel to the U.S. House of Representatives, where she represents the House, Committees, and Members in the Supreme Court, Courts of Appeal, and federal district courts.

Previously, Rachel worked at Crowell & Moring LLP, where she represented clients in mass tort, bankruptcy, and complex commercial litigation, and in-house at Fidelity National Financial. Rachel served as a law clerk to Judge Wendy Williams Berger of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and Judge James J. Tancredi of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Connecticut.

She received her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School, where she litigated cases in the Civil-Criminal Litigation Clinic, including securing an acquittal for her client in a criminal assault trial. During law school, she interned for Deloitte and for a non-profit organization in London. A proud Double Wolverine, Rachel also received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History from the University of Michigan. During college, she interned for Young America’s Foundation.

Rachel serves on the D.C. Young Lawyers Board of the Federalist Society. She has appeared on Fox News and has been quoted in Time Magazine, the Washington Examiner, and the Detroit News.
