Joshua Orlaski is currently a Policy Analyst at the America First Policy Institute. There he works in the Centers for the American Worker and Education Opportunity, writing and researching for the Honorable Linda McMahon and the Honorable Scott Turner. Before his tenure at AFPI, Joshua served in the Trump Administration as Secretary Ben Carson’s Confidential Assistant and Briefing Book Coordinator at the Department of Housing and Urban Development. He has also spent several years working in the private sector in business development.
Joshua is an alumnus of Hillsdale College, where he received his undergraduate degree in Financial Management. Originally from Temecula, CA, he now resides in Arlington, VA.
