Mason is a Northern Virginia-based political communications consultant and ghostwriter and a non-practicing attorney. In 2017 and 2018, he covered the federal courts and the Department of Justice for Breitbart News in Washington, DC.

In a previous life, before practicing law, Ian was a ski bum and still identifies as such. He was born and raised in Chicagoland, where the pizza is better than in New York, and is a graduate of the University of Edinburgh and Georgetown University Law Center.
