Hugh Fike is the Deputy to the Associate Director for Legislative Affairs at the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). Before OMB, Fike spent nearly four years on the Hill, most recently with Congressman Michael Cloud (TX-27) as his Legislative Director.

He is a native of Northern California with a passion for the culture war. Some of the political figures that have shaped his thinking are Angelo Codevilla, Pat Buchanan, and Theodore Dalrymple.

Hugh obtained his BA from George Mason University in Global Affairs and his MA from George Mason University in Public Policy. Outside of work, his passions are his family, Cheverly Baptist Church, hunting, and fishing. Hugh lives in Cheverly, MD wife, Carrie, and two beautiful daughters.
