Daniel Cochrane is a Senior Research Associate in the Tech Policy Center at The Heritage Foundation. He develops and advances policy to rein-in tech censorship and surveillance, protect children online, and ensure that emerging technologies prioritize the health of American democracy, markets, and culture.
Prior to Heritage, Daniel served in multiple roles at Alliance Defending Freedom, including as Program & Research Manager, where he helped launch a groundbreaking benchmark and advocacy initiative aimed at ensuring that America’s most powerful companies respect civil liberties. His first role at ADF was Assistant to the President for Strategic Planning responsible for coordinating special projects and coalition efforts focused on the sanctity of life, free speech, and parental rights.
Daniel holds a B.A. in Government from Patrick Henry College and a certificate in applied religion in public policy from the Pepperdine School of Public Policy
