Craig Trainor

Position: U.S. House Committee on the Judiciary

Craig Trainor is Senior Special Counsel with the United States House of Representatives Committee on the Judiciary, and the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, under Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH).

Previously, he served as Senior Litigation Counsel with the America First Policy Institute and Of Counsel with The Fairness Center.

For over ten years, Craig was a criminal defense and civil rights lawyer in New York City, litigating cases in New York state and federal courts.  He has tried numerous cases to verdict and secured substantial financial compensation for his clients whose civil rights and liberties had been violated by state actors. 

Craig was also a member of the New York Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, and his writing on the intersection of law, policy, and culture has appeared in the New York PostNational ReviewCity Journal, Quillette, The American Conservative, and The Spectator World, among other publications.
