Elliot Gaiser graduated from Hillsdale College in 2012 and went on to receive his JD from the University of Chicago Law School in 2016. He currently serves as an associate attorney at Boyden Gray & Associates.
Of working as a lawyer in D.C., Elliot states that he loves working on complex constitutional, regulatory, and environmental cases and helping deliver strategic solutions for clients rooted in the principles of the American experiment.
He believes that Hillsdale’s difficult classes, old books, and community “equipped [him] to think like a free, self-governing citizen.” Additionally, the classical and Christian education prepared [him] to excel in law school and instilled an ambition to serve the common good.”
His advice to his younger self? “It will be okay – but don’t let up on the gas. And you don’t need to solve the philosophy of relationships before you go on a date.”
Elliot’s favorite part of Washington, D.C. is that the city is filled with idealists, which is an opportunity for interesting conversations.
If he could narrow it down to 3 words, Elliot’s advice to someone would be to “Read your Bible.”
Elliot said that while he loves “delivering results for [his] private clients,” he hopes to service in public office someday.
