Hillsdale in D.C. Welcomes New Students to Campus

WASHINGTON, D.C. — This August, Hillsdale in D.C. welcomed twelve new students to the Van Andel Graduate School of Government and seventeen new students to the Washington-Hillsdale Internship Program. The Van Andel Graduate School of Government is a part-time graduate program for young professionals working in the D.C.-metropolitan area. The graduate students work all across the D.C.-metropolitan area, including in the federal government, on Capitol Hill, in think tanks, consulting firms, and private businesses.

The Washington-Hillsdale Internship Program (WHIP) is semester-long undergraduate program spent in D.C. Students intern in serious organizations during the day, take intensive academic classes at night, and explore the capital’s rich history on the weekends. This semester, students are interning in the White House; with various offices and committees on Capitol Hill such as with Representative Jim Jordan (OH-04) and the House Judiciary Committee; and thinks tanks like the America First Policy Institute and Pacific Legal Foundation.
