Hillsdale in D.C. Hosts its Annual Washington-Lincoln Toast

On Friday, Hillsdale in D.C. hosted its annual Washington-Lincoln Toast. Students on WHIP and in the Graduate School of Government, alumni, faculty and staff gathered together to celebrate and commemorate the lives of Presidents Washington and Lincoln.

Dean of the Van Andel Graduate School of Government Matthew Spalding opened the Toast with remarks on Washington. WHIP student Lindsey Larkin toasted next, followed by Associate Professor of Government Dr. Luke Foster, graduate student and U.S. attorney Nick Ganjei, and Assistant Director at the Simon Center for American Studies at the Heritage Foundation Brenda Hafera.

Due to Hillsdale in D.C.’s ongoing renovations, this year’s Washington-Lincoln Toast was held at the Phoenix Park Hotel.
