Van Andel Graduate School of Government Welcomes 13 New Alumni

Hillsdale College held its 173rd Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 10th. The College conferred undergraduate, graduate, and honorary degrees. Victor Davis Hanson, Wayne and Marcia Buske Distinguished Fellow in History, delivered the Commencement address.

Thirteen of Hillsdale in D.C.’s Van Andel Graduate School of Government students successfully completed their graduate education and received their Master of Arts in Government degrees. All of the D.C. Campus faculty and a handful of staff traveled with the students to celebrate and make their graduation memorable. The D.C. Campus congratulates the newest School of Government alumni and looks forward to seeing the important things they will do with their new degree.

Hillsdale College has held its Commencement ceremony every year since 1860.

About the Van Andel Graduate School of Government

To extend its unique teaching mission to our nation’s leaders, Hillsdale College founded its Steve and Amy Van Andel Graduate School of Government in Washington, D.C. Students are educated in the first principles of politics and how they apply in practice to the perennial challenge of restoring constitutional self-government in the United States. Consistent with Hillsdale’s mission and established liberal arts curriculum, the graduate school offers a Master of Arts in Government focused on the consideration and practice of those liberal arts that are required for truly just and excellent government.
