Download Press Release

Hillsdale College in D.C.’s Van Andel Graduate School of Government was recently profiled in The Epoch Times for its serious and universal approach to studying politics. Launched during Constitution Day Week in the fall of 2019, the Van Andel Graduate School of Government is already making waves in our nation’s capital.

Located on Capitol Hill - right in the heart of Washington DC, the Steve and Amy Van Andel Graduate School of Government educates driven professionals on weekday evenings and weekends, equipping them with the knowledge of the fundamental principles of America’s founding principles.

Joshua Holdenried, a recent graduate and Vice President and Executive Director of Napa Legal says, “I craved intellectual formation. It was clear that only Hillsdale could provide a thorough understanding of statesmanship and governing from tradition that has historical respect and accuracy to the Founding Fathers’ vision.”

Hillsdale’s School of Government M.A. program is designed for young but established professionals, in the early-to-middle part of their career, who are working in politics broadly defined: government staffers and lawmakers, journalists and media professionals, speechwriters, lawyers, think-tank analysts, domestic and foreign policy experts, and all practitioners drawn to serious study.

Course offerings reflect that focus by providing the necessary intellectual foundation for a career in American politics, one deeply enriched by Hillsdale College and its teaching mission.
