Hillsdale College Named Among Nation’s Best by The Princeton Review

HILLSDALE, Mich. — The Princeton Review again named Hillsdale College among the top 390 institutions of higher education in the country and 151 in the Midwest. The 2025 rankings are based upon a survey of 168,000 students. Hillsdale College also ranked in the top ten in six subcategories and the top 20 in 14 subcategories related to academics and student life.
 
“Everything we do here at Hillsdale College is ordered toward building and sustaining a lively and rigorous academic culture,” said Christopher VanOrman, Hillsdale College provost. “The excellence and happiness of our students are a natural byproduct of this culture. We are always grateful when others recognize that.”
 
Most notably, Hillsdale College ranked first for “Most Religious Students,” second for “Friendliest Students,” and third for “Most Conservative Students.”
