Hillsdale College’s Kirby Center Hosts Lecture with Senator Tom Cotton

On Tuesday, April 9, Hillsdale College’s Allan P. Kirby, Jr. Center for Constitutional Studies and Citizenship will host a lecture from Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton on his forthcoming book, Sacred Duty: A Soldier’s Tour at Arlington National Cemetery. This event is part of the AWC Family Foundation Lecture series.

The lecture is free and open to the media, but space is limited and attendees are encouraged to register by visiting the event’s ticketing site here.

WHO:
Senator Tom Cotton represents Arkansas in the U.S. Senate. He serves on the Banking
Committee as chair of the Economic Policy Subcommittee, the Intelligence Committee,
and the Armed Services Committee as chair of the Subcommittee on Airland. Cotton
served in active duty military with the U.S. Army Infantry for five years, including two
tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Before joining the military in the aftermath of the
September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, Cotton completed a clerkship in the U.S. Court of
Appeals and worked as a lawyer in a private practice. He earned his undergraduate and
law degrees from Harvard University.
